The highly advanced Vaxtor ALPR engine is fully ported to an Android SDK, enabling incredible performance and speeds matching an Intel i7 processor. Recognition at these speeds opens the ALPR On-Mobile market to verticals that were previously unachievable.
The software can operate in synchronous mode (click and process a plate or container read) for collecting or checking data, – or in asynchronous mode continuously reading plates or containers moving at speed from a hand-held device or one mounted on the dashboard.
In addition, the SDK will also recognise the make, model, colour and classification of vehicle in real time for instantaneous identification and reporting.
Once recognised, the license plate or container code is saved or transmitted along with other metadata such as time, date, GPS position, confidence etc. enabling a truly seamless and expansive mobile application to be designed for parking enforcement or port security/management.
